Cory Nietzke is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in practice since 2007. Cory earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Since graduation, Cory has been working with individuals who are on the Autism spectrum, and who have Intellectual Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Personality Disorders, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, Substance Abuse and Dependence Disorders, Sexual Abuse, Impulse Control Disorders, Relationship difficulties, Adjustment difficulties and Grief/Loss. Cory provides individual, couples, marital, and group psychotherapy. Cory has extensive experience and training in Motivation Interviewing and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy.

Over the past several years, Cory has worked at local non-profits with children and adults with ID and MI. He believes in a systems approach, utilizing teams consisting of family members, teachers, and other professionals to best meet your needs. Cory’s strengths include quick and thorough assessments of anger, marriage, domestic violence, mental health, substance abuse, and sexual issues to insure you receive the most comprehensive and appropriate services necessary to aid you in overcoming your concerns.

Cory Nietzke was in the United States Marine Corps and is adept at understanding and helping others cope with the specific trials of military services for active duty individuals and their families.
